Using the BMI Tool Code in Your Web Page

This tool will provide your site visitors with some fun, as well as useful health information.

Highlight and "Copy" the code in the text box below and place it (without modification) between the <HEAD> tags on your web page.

Body Mass Index (BMI) measures body fat, using a formula based on weight and height. BMI is applicable to both adult women and men.

Enter your weight and height using Kilograms and Centimetres. Click on "Calculate" and your BMI will appear to the left of the button.

BMI Categories:

  • Underweight = <18.5
  • Normal weight = 18.5 - 24.9
  • Overweight = 25 - 29.9
  • Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
